India has partially restricted imports of some goods from Bangladesh amid rising Indo-Pak tensions, which saw Bangladesh expressing support for Pakistan. Ready-made garments' imports are banned from any land port except through Nhava Sheva and Kolkata seaports. LPG losses suffered by Indian oil marketing companies are expected to decrease by 45% in FY26 if crude oil prices remain at $65/barrel, a report stated. Losses are incurred when oil companies sell LPG cylinders below their cost price, as prices are regulated by government for affordable cooking-gas. India's LPG consumption in recent years has grown faster than domestic production.
