The Foxconn unit at Karnataka's Devanahalli is ready to begin commercial iPhone shipments by June 2025, state Commerce and Industries Minister MB Patil said. Patil highlighted that the development strengthens Karnataka's position in global manufacturing and opens the door to "greater" foreign investment. Apple CEO Tim Cook recently confirmed that iPhones sold in US will soon be made in India.
