Radhakishan Damani sells VST Industries ₹4-crore shares

Veteran investor Radhakishan Damani sold a 0.64% stake worth ₹4.39 crore of VST Industries through open market transactions on Tuesday. Damani sold one lakh shares at ₹439.19 apiece, according to block deal data on the NSE. Shares of VST Industries ended 0.35% lower at ₹444, compared to a 0.14% jump in the NSE Nifty 50.

Glas Trust Company, a trustee for BYJU'S US lenders, has moved the Supreme Court over its removal from the committee of creditors (CoC) by the interim resolution professional (IRP). "[Glas Trust's] stake is 99.41% and this has been reduced to zero by the IRP," the company's advocate Kapil Sibal said. Glas Trust seeks a stay on CoC's proceedings.

India's exports to China fell by 22.44% to $1 billion, while its imports rose by 15.55% to $10.8 billion in August, as per the Commerce Ministry data. The trade deficit between the countries widened to $35.85 billion in the April-August period. India's exports to the US, the UAE, Singapore, Australia, South Africa, France and Turkey also dipped in August.

The government has asked various edible oil bodies to not hike MRP of soybean, sunflower, mustard and other edible oils till the availability of stocks imported at lower Basic Customs Duty (BCD). The stock imported at lower BCD would last for 45-50 days. Effective September 14, the BCD on several edible oils increased to support domestic oilseed prices.

The space venture allegedly failed to follow FAA's license requirements during two launches last year.
