Torrent Power Ltd’s shares rose 7% to ₹1,900.7 per share after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat on September 16, 2024, for a 5 GW solar, wind, or solar-wind hybrid project in Dwarka. Torrent Power has committed ₹64,000 crore for green energy projects and plans to reach 10 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030.
