Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued new guidelines which are aimed at tightening control over satellite-based internet services. Companies, under updated regulations, must now secure explicit security clearances for each proposed gateway hub location within Indian territory. This comes at a time when Starlink and Amazon's Project Kuiper are seeking GMPCS licenses to work in India.

Gensol Engineering's shares fell 5% and hit the lower circuit for the 17th session in a row on Monday amid multiple probes over alleged fund diversion by its founders. Gensol’s share price has tanked by 57% in the previous 17 sessions. The company's shares tumbled to their 52-week low of ₹70.49 at close on Monday.

Delhi NCR-based commercial vehicle marketplace 91trucks has raised ₹42.92 crore in a funding round led by Arkam Ventures along with Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital and India Accelerator. While Arkam Ventures has invested about ₹25 crore, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital and IA pooled in ₹14.99 crore, ₹1.73 crore and ₹99.99 lakh, respectively, in the round.

Blume Ventures-backed Zoplar shut its operations in February, just a month after it raised $3.4 mn in its Series A funding. The startup is now returning the capital raised in its Series A round to its investors. Zoplar decided to shutter its operations after Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, earlier this year, said that imports of refurbished medical devices aren't allowed in country.

TCS has cut senior employees' variable pay by 69% in Q1 FY26, reports stated. This is TCS' third consecutive quarter of variable pay cuts as it reduced variable pay for senior employees by 20–40% in Q2 FY25 and by 30% in Q3 FY25. Additionally, TCS announced that it will postpone this year's wage increases, which it usually does in April.

Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project progressed after two firms- Alstom Transport-Larsen & Toubro JV and DRA Infracon-Siemens JV submitted bids for the signalling and telecommunication system contract Package S-1. The project aims at designing, manufacturing, supplying, installing, and providing Comprehensive Maintenance of the Signalling and Train Control System on the MAHSR Bullet Train.
