India's gross GST collection for May 2025 reached ₹2.01 lakh crore, marking a 16.4% increase from ₹1.72 lakh crore collected in May 2024. This comes after a record high GST collection in April, when the revenues touched an all-time high of ₹2.37 lakh crore. In May, gross revenues from domestic transactions rose 13.7% to about ₹1.50 lakh crore.
