State Bank of India (SBI) has recruited 5,783 junior associates across India to strengthen branch operations, customer service. With this hiring round, India's largest lender has crossed 18,000 total recruitments in FY26, marking one of its biggest workforce expansions in recent years. Industry leaders say the move supports SBI's growth strategy and expansion of its nationwide banking services.
