Kotak Institutional Equities added Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and removed ITC from its model portfolio amid a sharp fall in stock market. This comes as ITC continued to offer an estimated upside of about 16%, while ONGC offered a higher potential upside of around 30%, Financial Express reported. ONGC was added with a weight of 150 basis points.

India's major oil marketing companies BPCL, HPCL and Indian Oil Corporation have reassured consumers that domestic LPG supplies remain stable and adequate, amid escalating Middle East tensions. BPCL took to X, stating, "BPCL continues to maintain adequate LPG stocks...Temporary rush is due to precautionary booking, not shortage." IndianOil said they are delivering around 28 lakh cylinders daily.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) on Friday said it has suspended 10 LPG distributors for alleged malpractices, leading to instances of hoarding and panic-buying of cylinders. The firm took to X, saying, "With a zero-tolerance approach, we're ensuring accountability and taking timely disciplinary action wherever required." HPCL recorded deliveries of 14,10,000 LPG cylinders on Friday.

Bajaj Auto reported a 21% rise in total exports to 1.79 lakh units in March, as compared to 1.48 lakh units in the same month last year. The total sales also increased by 20% YoY in March from 3.7 lakh units in the previous year. However, Bajaj Auto failed to maintain the monthly run rate of 2 lakh units.

Anthropic has launched its Claude computer use feature for Windows, following its launch on macOS a few days ago. The AI can open applications, run tests, navigate interfaces, spot bugs, and fix them on its own. The feature works in the research preview, like macOS, through both Claude Cowork and Claude Code for Claude Max and Claude Pro subscribers.

A ₹12.75 lakh taxable income after ₹75,000-standard deduction could disqualify marginal tax relief, as it's only applicable if tax payable is more than additional income earned above ₹12 lakh, Moneycontrol reported. Therefore, ₹13.4 lakh income (₹12.65 lakh taxable) will get the relief as tax payable is ₹69,750, while ₹13.5 lakh (₹12.75 lakh taxable) income wouldn't with tax payable at ₹71,250.
