Over 100 Samsung workers detained amid strike over low wages at TN plant

Over 100 workers striking over low wages at Samsung's plant near Chennai have been placed under "preventive arrest", police said. The strike of the workers, who were reportedly planning a march on Monday without permission, has been ongoing for seven days and has disrupted production. "Workers have been asked to return to strike tent," union leader A Jenitan told Reuters.
