Over 100 workers striking over low wages at Samsung's plant near Chennai have been placed under "preventive arrest", police said. The strike of the workers, who were reportedly planning a march on Monday without permission, has been ongoing for seven days and has disrupted production. "Workers have been asked to return to strike tent," union leader A Jenitan told Reuters.

In the first phase, Jindal Renewables will develop a green hydrogen generation capacity of up to 4,500 tonnes per annum set to commence by December 2025, said the company. The project will also entail supply of 36,000 tonnes of oxygen per annum that will be used in the Angul steelworks.

The furniture retailer is looking for a potential buyer or a strategic acquisition, the report added. This comes after Pepperfry postponed its plans to launch an IPO amid rising losses.
