Amid war in the Middle East, 37 Indian-flagged ships carrying over 1,100 seafarers are stranded in the region around the Strait of Hormuz, which remains shut as Iran threatened to burn any ship crossing it. These ships are located in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, with some ships awaiting cargo and some already fully loaded.
