Shares of the world's biggest EV battery maker CATL opened 12.5% higher than its subscription price on the first day of trading in Hong Kong. The Chinese company, which is a key supplier to Tesla, raised around $4.6 billion from the IPO, making it the biggest so far this year. CATL is also listed on the Shenzhen stock market.
