Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada said women-led startups in India are receiving increased government funding support. As per Commerce Ministry data, about half of India’s recognised startups have at least one woman director/partner. Under the Fund of Funds for Startups, investments in women-led startups have increased from ₹333.96 crore in 2020 to ₹914.47 crore in 2025.
