Sensex fell over 550 points and Nifty dropped below 23,950 intraday on Tuesday. This comes after Brent crude surged to $113 per barrel after Iran escalated attacks on UAE and ships in the Strait of Hormuz. The rupee also hit an all-time low of 95.40 against the dollar, while weak US and Asian markets also added to the pressure.
