Indian deep-tech firm, Velmenni, secured ₹30 crore in Pre-Series A funding led by pi Ventures. The company develops high-speed Free Space Optics (FSO) & Li-Fi solutions for telecom, defence, & enterprise markets. Funds will scale commercialisation, international expansion, and customised defence solutions. Velmenni has 50+ live deployments and is India’s first carrier-grade FSO backhaul provider.
