Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has instructed government departments to swiftly resolve any forest land-related issues that are hindering progress of ₹76,200 crore Vadhvan Port project. "Since the project is vital for maritime transport, forest land issues should be addressed and necessary decisions taken promptly. It will generate significant employment, and so should be fast-tracked," he said.
