A US-based startup plans to launch 50,000 mirrors into space to provide sunlight on Earth at night. Reflect Orbital will charge about $5,000 an hour (around ₹5 lakh) for the light of one mirror under annual contracts for 1,000 hours or more. The startup has sought regulatory approval to launch a prototype satellite with a 60-foot-wide mirror this year.
