US President Donald Trump has recommended 50% tariff on European Union (EU) imports, with effect from June 1. Trump further said that no tariff would be imposed if products are built or manufactured in US. Calling the trade talks a stalemate, Trump said that EU's unfair lawsuits and taxes against US led to a trade deficit of over $250 million/year.
