A US federal judge in California dismissed a lawsuit by Elon Musk's xAI that accused Sam Altman's OpenAI of stealing its trade secrets. The judge ruled that xAI failed to allege that OpenAI committed any misconduct in hiring former xAI staff and using confidential information, including Grok's source code. xAI can file an amended complaint by March 17.
