President Donald Trump said US could control more than half of global oil production if they regain access to Venezuela's petroleum industry. "American companies will have opportunity to rebuild Venezuela’s energy infrastructure and eventually increase oil production to levels never seen before...When you add Venezuela and US together, we've 55% of the oil in the world," Trump said.
