upGrad begins IPO preparations aiming for $350–400mn listing

Temasek-backed edtech firm upGrad has started early preparations for an initial public offering that could raise $350–400 million, targeting a 2027 listing. The company is exploring mergers, possible asset purchases from Byju’s and a share-swap with Unacademy, and is in informal talks with bankers as it focuses on growth, cost discipline and international expansion ahead of going public.
