Surgeons in the United Kingdom used an AI tool called Eureka during a live operation for the first time. The tool developed by Japan-based startup Anaut uses colour coding to highlight different body parts and helps surgeons protect or dissect various anatomical structures. It was used for a bowel resection at St Mark's, the National Bowel Hospital in northwest London.
