UK's Competition and Markets Authority on Tuesday said it will launch an investigation into Microsoft's business software ecosystem in May. The regulator said its market investigation into cloud services found that Microsoft has a position of "significant market power". The investigation could allow the authority to act on "Microsoft’s use of software licensing reducing competition in cloud".
