Swiggy has received a tax demand order worth ₹7.59 crore for the period of April 2021 to March 2022. The assessment order relates to alleged violations of provisions pertaining to deduction of profession tax from the employees' salary. The order was passed by the Office of the Profession Tax Officer in Pune.
