Tailwind CSS saw its revenue drop by 80% despite firing 75% of its workforce, reducing its headcount from four to one, after being impacted by AI. Tailwind creator Adam Wathan said despite being "more popular than ever", Tailwind was unable to sell its products as fewer users were reaching the documentation pages. Google AI Studio then offered to sponsor Tailwind.
