PM Narendra Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat address, announced that startups in the space sector have increased fourfold over the last five years. "Five years ago, there were fewer than 50 startups. Today, there are more than 200, just in the space sector," he said. The PM also mentioned other sectoral developments, including Shubhanshu Shukla's space mission and Chandrayaan-3.
