Shreeji Shipping Global received Income Tax Department approval to opt for the Tonnage Tax Scheme for eligible inland vessels from FY26 to FY35. Under the scheme, tax liability will be based on vessel tonnage rather than profits. The company expects improved tax efficiency, predictable tax outflows and stronger long-term cash flows.
