Sensex down over 400 points at open amid renewed US-Iran strikes

The Indian benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty 50, opened in the red on Friday. The Sensex fell nearly 400 points to 77,451, while the Nifty dropped 115 points to 24,221 in early trade. The decline came amid fresh US-Iran tensions after US forces struck Iranian military facilities linked to attacks in the Strait of Hormuz.
