The Indian Rupee recovered 61 paise on Thursday to ₹96.25/USD after hitting a record closing low of ₹96.86/USD in the previous session. This comes after the RBI announced a $5-billion USD-INR buy-sell swap auction for a three-year tenor on May 26. Brent Crude prices dropped after US President Donald Trump indicated that negotiations with Iran were entering the final stages.
