Rupee opens 43 paise higher at 94.68 after US-Iran ceasefire

The Indian rupee opened 43 paise higher at 94.68 against the US dollar on Monday after US-Iran ceasefire and reopening of Strait of Hormuz. It closed at 95.11 on Friday. Brent crude dropped over 4% overnight to about $83 per barrel, its lowest since April after earlier trading above $90 during overnight trade levels.
