Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal met European Commissioner Maros Sefcovic to push forward free trade agreement (FTA) talks between India and European Union (EU). The partnership with India becomes significant, as EU's ties with US falters following US President Donald Trump's announcement of implementing a 50% tariff on all EU imports. The FTA will be finalised by the end of 2025.
