Perplexity won't track user behaviour for ad personalisation: CEO

Perplexity AI CEO Aravind Srinivas denied his claims of building a browser that would track users' behaviour for ad personalisation. This comes after Srinivas earlier said that Perplexity AI's independent browser 'Comet' would collect users' data even outside the app, reports stated. However, Srinivas has now clarified his earlier comments as "purely hypothetical" and aimed at future exploration.
