AI startup Perplexity plans to go public in 2028 irrespective of how investors respond to the upcoming listings of Anthropic and OpenAI, CEO Aravind Srinivas told CNBC. OpenAI confidentially filed for a US IPO on Monday, while Anthropic filed last week. "I think it's important for the AI industry that these IPOs go well," said Srinivas.
