OpenAI may be building an AI-first phone with chipmakers MediaTek, Qualcomm and components manufacturer Luxshare, several reports said. The device, which may enter mass production in 2028, will not require users to jump between multiple apps to finish tasks, Times Now reported. Earlier, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said that it had finished its first prototypes for hardware devices.
