OpenAI CEO Sam Altman revealed that the company is currently losing money due to ChatGPT Pro, a subscription-based service accessible only to paid users. Calling it an "insane thing", Altman said users have subscribed to the service much more than it was expected. "I personally chose the price and thought we would make some money," he wrote on X.
