Nvidia is in talks to provide about $250 billion in financing to OpenAI for a major data centre project, according to The Wall Street Journal. The funding would support OpenAI's lease of a 10-gigawatt facility being developed by SoftBank's energy unit in southern Ohio. The project's power is controlled by the US government and is backed by Japan.
