State-owned NTPC is looking to set up two 700 MW nuclear power units in Bihar's Banka, which could entail an investment of around ₹25,000 crore, PTI reported. NTPC officials are conducting a feasibility study for the project in the district, a government official said. The Bihar government has assured full support and water availability for the project, the official added.
