Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, "India's space sector has achieved a new milestone," after the world's first OptoSAR satellite, Mission Drishti, built by Indian startup GalaxEye, was successfully launched on Sunday. "This will strengthen our capabilities in advanced Earth observation and strategic applications," Singh further said. The satellite was launched into orbit from US' California.
