Netflix will buy Warner Bros Discovery for $82.7 billion (₹7.44 lakh crore) and will pay a breakup fee of 8% of the deal value if the acquisition falls through. This is one of the highest breakup fees (by percentage) of all time, equalling $5.8 billion (₹52,175 crore). Warner Bros will pay $2.8 billion if deal falls through on their end.
