SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet service is set to launch in South Korea this year after a revision to the Radio Waves Act. Starlink Korea LLC applied for approval in May 2023 for a cross-border supply agreement to provide its low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite service. The government amended regulations on local frequency use by Starlink this month.
