Microsoft launched its Maia 200 AI accelerator to improve AI inference efficiency and lower costs across its cloud infrastructure. Built on TSMC 3nm process, the chip features FP8 and FP4 tensor cores and higher memory and data flow. Microsoft shares rose after the announcement.
