The IT ministry plans to create a panel of up to 20 technology firms to modernise legacy government IT systems using artificial intelligence. The proposed panel includes 10 general-category firms and 10 startups and MSMEs. Selected companies will execute project-specific assignments for ministries, state governments, PSUs and other government bodies through NICSI work orders.
