A 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly defrauding a bank in Uttar Pradesh's Agra using an overdraft trick. The accused, who runs a small shop, opened an account with ₹500 at an HDFC Bank branch and then reportedly exploited the overdraft facility to withdraw ₹5 crore via multiple transactions. As per police, he apparently invested ₹3.5 crore of money.
