Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy directed the Transport Commissioner to take action against app-based and other autorickshaws in Bengaluru that charge fares above the government-fixed rates. Reddy said that cases will be registered against violators, and permits of such autos will be cancelled. Metre fare is fixed at ₹30 for the first 1.9 km, and ₹15 for every additional kilometre.
