The magistrate court in Gandhinagar's Mansa convicted journalist Ravi Nair in a criminal defamation case filed by Adani Enterprises Ltd. Nair received a one-year imprisonment and a fine for publishing false and defamatory tweets against Adani Enterprises Ltd and the Adani Group. After a full-fledged trial, the court held that the company had successfully established its case.
