India is set to import 12 million barrels of crude oil from Venezuela, the highest since February 2020, according to Kpler. This comes as the country looks for alternatives for Middle Eastern supplies amid the ongoing Iran war. Refiners including Reliance Industries, HPCL and IOCL have collectively purchased over 3 lakh barrels a day for loading in March.
