India's forex reserves jumped by $3.8 billion in a week, to reach $700.95 billion as of April 10, 2026, according to the RBI. A major portion of the jump came from foreign currency assets, which grew by $3.13 billion to reach $555.98 billion. India's gold reserves also went up by $601 million and currently stand at $121.34 billion.
