Indian investors lost ₹8.23 lakh crore in just six hours of trading on Wednesday as US President Donald Trump said the ceasefire with Iran had come to an end. Trump announced the US-Iran war's resumption after three tankers were hit by projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz. The investor wealth wipe-off came as Sensex tanked 1,677 points to 76,503.60.
