HCLTech ex-CEO Vineet Nayar said Indian IT firms "are going to be profit-driven and therefore if you believe that they're going to create employment, you must be dreaming". He stated that employment in the age of AI will come from mass-scale startups. He added that the focus should be on creating new people who are trying to solve new problems.
