ICICI Bank on February 21 received an Order in Appeal from the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (GST) Department raising a tax demand of ₹50.38 crore. The tax demand comes along with an equivalent amount of penalty and interest. The bank said it will take appropriate steps, including contesting the order through a further appeal within the prescribed timelines.
