US President Donald Trump announced that US will impose 25% tariffs on any country engaging in trade with Iran. Exporters' body FIEO said the tariffs will have almost no impact on India, as Indian companies and banks are in full and demonstrable compliance with the sanctions. FIEO noted that this is because India's trade with Iran is exclusively humanitarian.
